The responsibility of maintaining classroom ethics relies both on the teacher and the students.   • Concern for Others: A student should care about the efforts of a teacher that he or she is making for you. A student should also show concern for other fellow students as well. You also can express concern by sharing notes with other student, or teaching weak students those subjects in which you are best.
  • Integrity: Integrity means being reliable and truthful. This implies every student to be fair in doing their assignment, projects, quizzes and exams. They should avoid any unethical or illegal means(plagiarism or cheating) for getting marks.
  • Modesty: Modesty means acting in a socially adequate manner that does not insult other students' feelings.

Coming late to the lecture is the worst attitude adopted by many students. When you are late you not only miss some part of lecture but you create disturbance for others as well. If you have any question or you want to answer you must think before speaking. You must complement each other and address our classmates and teachers with gentleness and respect. You should talk directly to a person whom you have conflict with instead of exaggerating the issue. Work industriously in class. Don’t use abusive language or involve in personal matters of others. Listen attentively and quietly to the students who are speaking in class. While answering or asking question stands so that you get noticed. Remember that everything told during lecture is a contribution and has importance.

Role of a Teacher in an Ethical Environment of a Classroom:
Teachers should encourage ethical behavior in the classroom during lectures. A teacher must devote suitable time to create and strengthen ethical beliefs with his or her students. If these beliefs are perfect and believed, they will help you over some difficult days during lecture. The intention of every teacher should be benefiting their students. 


Some students make lectures difficult due to their non-serious attitude, others seem unprepared to learn and some others are chronically absent. The efforts for trying to teach students who lack motivation are not less than a burden. But whatever a condition is a positive and ethical response is always demanded from a teacher. A teacher should treat all students equally. Listen to them and don’t ignore them.
